Tours

The Washington Historical Society offers several tours each year. The intent is to provide the participants with additional information about the history of Washington, the buildings that date back over 100 years, and those buildings thought to have spirits or unexplained experiences.

The society sponsors the Washington on Wheels tour (WOW) and the ghost tour. The Odd Fellows sponsor the Wildey Odd Fellows Cemetery tour, but is supported by society members.

Please review our walking tour brochure which can be downloaded and printed. Sixty-eight historical treasures are briefly described and each is located on a map of downtown Washington. All but a few are within a four-block radius.

Tours of the museum itself are also available to scouts, students, senior citizens and bus tours. Please arrange in advance by calling the museum at 636-239-0280.
