Historic Tours

Kohmueller House at Grand Avenue and Lake Shore Drive, a mid-1800s farmstead and home. 

AME Annex at Walnut and Fourth streets, the home of the former African Methodist Episcopal Church, containing archives of historical Franklin County records

Firehouse Museum at Fifth and Stafford streets, containing antique vehicles and vintage firefighting equipment.

Washington Historical Society Museum at Fourth and Market streets, a silent auction of antiquities and mementos. The silent auction closes at 5 p.m. Winners need not be present at closing and will be notified. Visit before or after the tours. 

Tour participants must wear face masks and follow social distancing guidelines. Tours will be set on a schedule in order to follow those guidelines. You will be mailed a ticket detailing the time and location of your starting point. A docent will be present to highlight the site’s significance.

Raffle Tickets

$5,000 raffle. One hundred tickets will be sold. 

Raffle tickets will be mailed to donor upon receipt of payment. Raffle tickets also available on date of tours. Winner to be notified by year's end.
