(You save )
"Trilogy of the Big Muddy: Brackenridge, Wellenkamp and Baldwin" consists of three accounts:
- An 1811 journal written by Henry Marie Brackenridge during his expedition from the mouth of the Missouri River at St. Louis to its upper reaches
- The autobiography of Washington merchant Henry Wellenkamp who wrote of his immigration to America and his travels on mid-western rivers prior to the California Gold Rush
- The chronicle of Captain E. M. Baldwin as published in early 20th century Washington Citizen articles and editorials advocating for the stabilization of the Missouri River channel and riverboat landing at Washington.
